What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change. When they do, please cancel as early as possible so another player has the opportunity to participate.

Leagues - Please cancel at least 12 hours before your scheduled play time. Late cancellations and no-shows will incur a $10 fee.

Club play, Clinics, Live Ball, & Open Play - Please cancel at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged 50% of the program fee.

Court Reservations - Please cancel at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged 50% of the reservation fee.

Lessons - Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged 70% of the lesson fee.

Cancellations made before the applicable deadline are always free—no questions asked.
Questions
Who counts as a junior or student?
18 years old and under, or a current student ID from SBCC and UCSB (or any higher ed. school in the county). Junior Member is $75 a month, and can be purchased at the front desk.
Can I still become a Founder?
No. Founder membership prices were already sold to our loyal members, back in May 2026. Tier 1 at $179 is now $160 and Tier 2 at $197 is now $175.
Is there a contract?
No initiation fee and no contract. Just your paddle and shoes. Memberships run month to month, and can cancel within 48 hours of the next month's renewal.
How far ahead can I book?
Grove Pass holders may book 7 days out. Punch pass and Open Play Pass may book 3 days out. This applies to all programming except tournaments.
Do I need a paddle?
No. Demo paddles are available, and a rental is included on a first visit.
What if I have never played?
Start with Pickleball 101. It's FREE, every other Saturday and the best way to get started playing pickleball.
