The GrovePB LLC ("The Grove Pickleball", "we", "us") operates The Grove Pickleball club at 191 N. Fairview Ave, Goleta, CA 93117, and this website at www.grovepb.com. This policy covers this website. Services we link to, such as our booking system, have their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Newsletter signup: your email address.
• Phone calls, texts and emails: whatever you choose to share when you contact us at (805) 439-8040 or info@grovepb.com.

Information collected automatically

• Security and spam prevention: when you submit a form, we process your IP address to limit repeated submissions. If enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and device signals to confirm a person, not a bot, is submitting the form.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider, Railway, processes IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site.
• Analytics, only with your consent: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, the site that referred you, and actions such as clicks on booking, phone and email links.
• Map: the map on our home page is embedded from Google Maps. Google may collect information and set cookies under its own policy when it loads.

Services we link to

Court bookings, passes and program registration happen on our booking platform at book.grovepb.com, operated by Playbypoint. Private event requests use Google Forms, and the Open Play Pass waitlist and partnership inquiries use Wix Forms. Our mobile app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Information you enter on those services is collected by that provider and made available to us so we can respond. Their privacy policies apply to that information.

How we use information

• To send the weekly newsletter you asked for, with open play changes, new leagues, promotions and club news.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• With your consent, to understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

• Strictly necessary: we store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every page.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies, named _ga and _ga_*, are set only after you select "Accept" or turn analytics on in Cookie Settings.
• Third-party embed: the Google Maps embed on our home page may set Google cookies when it loads.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Rejecting analytics does not affect how the site works.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and newsletter, and only for that purpose:

• Railway for hosting and form processing.
• Sender to store subscriber addresses and send the newsletter.
• Google, for Analytics (with consent) and the Maps embed.
• Cloudflare, for Turnstile spam protection.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members, staff and visitors. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your rights and choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in every email. You can withdraw analytics consent in Cookie Settings. To ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies to us, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent. We will verify requests before acting on them.

Visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

We rely on your consent for the newsletter, analytics and map embed, and on our legitimate interests to secure the site and prevent spam. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Our providers may process data in the United States.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through it. Junior passes are purchased at our front desk.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site and limit the data we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
