Agreement to these terms

This website is operated by The GrovePB LLC ("The Grove Pickleball", "we", "us"), 191 N. Fairview Ave, Goleta, CA 93117. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Using the website

• Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with other visitors.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, overload the site, submit spam, or scrape content in bulk.
• Information on the site, including schedules, programs and prices, can change. Check the booking system or contact us to confirm details before you visit.

Bookings and passes

Court reservations, passes, programs and lessons are booked and paid for through our booking platform at book.grovepb.com, operated by Playbypoint. Its terms also apply to those transactions.

• Monthly passes run month to month, with no initiation fee and no contract. To cancel, email info@grovepb.com at least 48 hours before your renewal date. Cancellations are accepted by email only.
• Grove Pass holders may book 7 days out. Punch pass and Open Play Pass holders may book 3 days out. This applies to all programming except tournaments.
• Hero Passes must be purchased at the front desk with professional ID. Junior / Student Passes are purchased at the front desk, and students must show a current student ID.
• Punch passes do not expire.
• Prices and programs may change. Changes do not affect purchases already completed. We will give members at least 45 days' notice by email before the price of an active pass changes.

Cancellations and no-shows

• Leagues: cancel at least 12 hours before your scheduled play time. Late cancellations and no-shows incur a $10 fee.
• Club play, clinics, live ball and open play: cancel at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows incur a $10 fee.
• Court reservations: cancel at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the reservation fee.
• Lessons: cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 70% of the lesson fee.
• Cancellations made before the applicable deadline are always free.

Private events

Submitting an event request does not reserve the facility. Events are confirmed only after we agree on details with you and receive a 50% deposit. Events may be cancelled up to 14 days before the event date.

Playing at the club

Pickleball is a physical activity with a risk of injury. Play within your ability, wear flat-sole athletic shoes, and follow posted rules and staff instructions. Every player must sign our liability waiver before playing, either in the Grove app or on the iPad at the front desk.

Intellectual property

The site's content, including text, photos, graphics, logos and the name The Grove Pickleball, is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

Third-party services and links

The site links to services we do not control, including our booking platform, Google Forms, Wix Forms, app stores and social networks. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their terms apply when you use them.

Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the site will always be available or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us through the website in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
